Quiet Time....
"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."
Luke 2:11-14

Morning chores as usual...and it was COLD again this morning...
*****
Wednesday is Meds Day...I fix Mom and Dad's medicines for the week...
Lanny moved to his office to work on bills and Max joined him... Max loves his "Daddy" :-)
...Murphy loves the fire....
It's a Dog's Life for sure....
The fur kids know what to do on a cold morning!
Maggie definitely needs to learn to relax!
I needed to make some cinnamon rolls to take to Isaac and Sky and to James and Tasha with their Goody Bags...and keep a few for us :-)
Rising dough.... then roll it out...
Lots of butter, sugar and cinnamon...
...and while I am creating stuff in the kitchen...
Sadie is creating at the table...she finds instructional and DIY video's online and can spend hours making origami and drawing...she is very talented!
...and in the kitchen the rolls are ready for the second rise....
...after 45 minutes...all puffed up and ready to bake...
...out of the oven...nice and brown and ready for icing...
Papaw, Sadie and I packed up the Sweets and headed down the hill...we delivered the goodies to everyone and then went to Sonic for lunch...
We came home and practiced our song for Christmas Eve service tomorrow night...Sadie is going to join Mom, Paula and me singing "O Holy Night"...
Then we went out and talked to the horses for a while...
Sadie loves the horses...so do I!
I made pancakes and bacon for dinner and homemade syrup
(I didn't know I was out! it actually turned out pretty good)...
...and before you know it it's time for Sadie to head home...we sure enjoy having her here...she is so much fun!!!
*****
So Lanny and I are ready to settle down here in front of the fire and watch "All Dogs Christmas"...we watch all the Christmas Carol movies we can find every year and this just happens to be a cartoon version... I think we saw it many years ago when the grands were little...light entertainment :-)
Goodnight Y'all...
