Quiet Time....
“He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.”
*****
So, it was pretty cold this morning...
I made quick work of my duck and chicken chores :-)
I was so excited about working on the pantry that I could hardly wait for Lanny to finish his morning devotionals... he went right to work putting my over the door shelf together...
It looks SO good and gives me so much more room...I love organization!!
We went down the hill at 10 to pick up Lannys glasses from the Walmart Vision Center and bought a couple containers to organize over my washer and dryer.
When we got home I fed Mom and Dad and Lanny some Vienna sausages, cheese, bologna and crackers (I ate smoked oysters and crackers) and we headed for the couch for Siesta with the fur kids...
They stare at me starting around 1 asking for their dinner, but I try to hold out until 2. They eat at 6 in the morning so 2 is a good time for their dinner... then they get nibbles for snack in the evening...they do love popcorn!
I am not feeding them on the new kitchen rug...I will keep the puppy spit off of it for a little while...
so here are all five dogs and the kitty in a neat little pile eating their dinner :-)
Lanny put up a new shelf over my washer and dryer and we spent the afternoon organizing and moving stuff around...
I made Meat Loaf, Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and Beets for dinner...some homemade biscuits and Lemon Cake and Whipped Cream Jello for dessert...Yum!
So, Lanny did Puppy Pile Patrol while I changed out all the foul ponds and water bowls and filled the bird feeders...when we moved here there were no birds to be seen...I put out some feeders and it was several weeks before they came to feed. I don't think the previous owners fed them...now there are a gazillion birds out here. I LOVE the birds and the cost for feed is well worth it to me!!
Lanny is in the shower, I am in my jammies, the pups are waiting on the couch. I am not sure what comes after Transformers...we shall see...
Goodnight Y'all.... God bless!
