A Day in the Life / Saturday, March 6

Quiet Time....

“For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭7:10‬

*****
Max was waiting for his Daddy to get up this morning...

He LOVES Bible Study :-)

Morning chores all done...inside and out...

...and the usual three duck eggs... I will have to wait and see if the chickens give me any...ducks lay during the night, chickens throughout the day...

It's Saturday, so we headed down the hill at 7:45 for our usual morning at Hoskins Drug...we passed by the Shetlands...

...had our usual sandwiches...the waitresses don't even ask us what we want anymore...

Max on the Mantle and Maggie on the bench, enjoying the warmth of the fire... it had just gone off but the warm was still full force...

I thought these two gals were laying more eggs in the duck box,  but they were just foolin' ...

Made egg salad sandwiches for lunch and Lanny and I did manage a short siesta...

I fed the fur kids and went outside to play in the back yard!

We cleaned out the duck box and put in fresh sawdust pellets...

Lanny picked up the wood and rocks along the fence and the chickens LOVE when things are moved around...I guess they find little insect snacks under there :-)

Paula and Shelly were trimming under some of the evergreens around the pasture so they could see the horses when they are down at the bottom of the hill..

I fried up some burger patties for our Sunday Hamburger lunch tomorrow after church...

We had Wieners and Kraut, Macaroni and Tomatoes (left overs) and Stewed Potatoes for dinner...

Lanny has been working on the fence line all afternoon and is putting river pebbles all along to keep us from having to use the Weed Wacker and also so that these little fur kids of ours won't be able to dig under the fence...especially one in particular...I won't mention any names, SKIPPER! :-)

Lanny did have to use the Weed Wacker once before he put down the rock and Murphy wanted to check it out...

It's starting to look like Spring...I so love it when we can spend the whole day outside!

Well, the Puppy Patrol is done, the fowl kids are in bed, I am clean and Lanny is just getting out of the shower...

Blade Runner is on the marquees tonight...

Popcorn and ice cream from the snack bar, for sure!

Goodnight Y'all...

God loves you, and so do we...
