A Day in the Life / Friday/ April 23

Quiet Time....

Had to share last night's cute picture...Murphy and Maggie were eyeing my ice cream sundae...they love ice cream...

I filled Dad's thermal coffee pot and set out his cup and donut...

(but he did not get up until 7:30)...

I settled down on the couch around 4:15 with my iPad and computer... and with my two little fur magnets... they snuggle as close as they can... we had a nice quiet devotion and Bible Study time...

I finished around 6 and started my morning.

It wasn't quite as cold as yesterday but certainly still cold...

figured I'd wait until the sun peeked out...

I made our bed, started a load of laundry and did some dusting until sunrise...

The feathered kids were ready and waiting...

Three eggs...sounds like a broken record, doesn't it?

It is definitely a Dog's Life around here...our fur kids are NOT spoiled :-)

I changed Mom's bed sheets and washed them and did some vacuuming...

Then I made some Peanut Brittle and some Chocolate Chip Brownies...

YUM!!

Ready for tonights Dessert...

I also made some Orange Jello with Pineapples and Marshmallows...

I fried up some bologna for Rob and James and my crew here for lunch...

Lanny and I did manage to take a short snooze after lunch...this time of year we are usually in the middle of something outside, so naps are rare...it is more a winter activity, but we take it when we can get it :-)...and it WAS cold today...

I gathered up left over's for our dinner: Pinto Beans, Baked Spaghetti, Fried Chicken and Sweet Corn...with the goodies for dessert it was all pretty good if I say so myself!!

After dinner I cleaned up the kitchen, called Robbie to come make himself a plate (got rid of more of the left over left over's...you will find out tomorrow what I will do with the rest of the left over left overs :-) )

I put the chicks and ducks to bed and found one sweet brown egg in the nesting box...so 4 today.

Mom and I walked over to the horse stalls to talk to Paula a minute and I gave Dandy and Takota some carrots...

I am in my Jammies finishing this post and waiting for Lanny to come in...he is still working on the big mower...

I think tonight is Ant Man (next in the series)...it's a fun one :-)

I'm sure there will be popcorn from the snack bar!
