Quiet Time....

Got Daddy's morning necessities ready...

Coffee, Donut and Inhaler :-)

And he was up when I got up...

We spent our usual 90 minutes in Quiet Study Time...

with some of the fur kids...

Then I went outside to take care of the feathered kids...

The Bio Pod has started producing...

Soldier Fly Grubs...

I put in the kitchen scraps and God provides the garbage disposers...

Soldier Flies lay their eggs in the "garbage" and those eggs hatch into grubs.

And my chickens LOVE those grubs.

Two duck eggs...it's becoming the norm...

The horses hollered at me so I had to go over and give them a carrot or two...

Lanny working on Saturday Morning Bills...

It's Saturday, so you know where we are headed...

Our Saturday morning, 8 am DATE!!

Came home and went to work...

Flower watching :-)

Paula mowing..

Cleaning up the fire pit area...

And then it's time for a nap!

We thought afterward that we should have taken our rest in the pool on a float, so...

we did spend 45 minutes or so floating around.

No picture because I don't take my phone into the pool.

But just envision two really fit and healthy people sunning in the pool...

HA!

Bossy laid an egg in the duck house again...

that's becoming a norm...

I have no clue as to why these chickens want to lay on a hot rubber mat in the full, hot sun when it's 90 degrees...but they do!

Made Asian Chicken Stir Fry and Crescent Rolls for dinner...

Lanny cleaned up the back yard, mowed it (it looks SO nice)...

I cleaned the water ponds and buckets and put the chicks and ducks to bed.

We are clean, in our jammies and ready to settle down with some popcorn and a movie...

not sure what it will be tonight...

I'll let you know tomorrow.
