A Day in the Life / Thursday, June 24

Quiet Time.....

“and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.””

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:4‬

*****
Waiting for their Daddy to get up and join us...

Dad got up a little after 5 and came in for his morning goodies...

I read and studied until 6 and then hit the floor running.
I am so thankful I have that 90 minutes (usually) in the morning to ease into the hustle of the day...

Only one egg in the duck house this morning, but I found a second one in the far corner of the yard later in the day...

Hosta in bloom...

Pond deck...

Our back yard from the far corner...

Paula's garden is going to town!

Rob was already hard at work...

Dad enjoying some banana bread with butter (both homemade) for his mid morning snack :-)

Lanny saved a little bunny from Max...he had not yet begun the usual cat torture so the bunny was unharmed.
We released him far from Max's view...

But Max just doesn't understand what all the fuss is about...

Made lunch for the three of us (Lanny was at his brother's).
They had cheese, bologna, Vienna sausages, peanut butter and saltines...
I had smoked oysters and saltines :-) YUM!

I went out and floated in the pool for about 45 minutes after lunch...
Nice!

There is the second duck egg for today...
She goes between two fences that overlap at the edge of the yard...

Dust bathing in a flower pot...that's why there is NO flower in it!

Paula at her usual HARD work...
pulling old posts.

And Rob hanging a two way screen door...

Mom, Dad and Max supervising!

Bossy, playing dead at the kitchen gate :-)
They love laying on the HOT rubber mat in the sun.
Go figure!

Made Panko Breaded Chicken Breast, Green Beans and Carrots, Dinner Fries and Salad for Dinner...

Lanny cleaned up the puppy piles and headed out to mow a bit.
I cleaned up the kitchen and then went over to visit with Paula for a few minutes.

Max is resting up for tonight...

Rob has not stopped today!

I put the chicks and ducks to bed, filled all their water bowls and pools with fresh water for tomorrow.

Maggie and Murph waiting for me to come in...

I am all cleaned up and in my Jammies and ready to finish the 4th Bourne.
Popcorn is definitely in my future tonight!

Goodnight Y'all...
God bless!

Sweetest Dreams!!
