Dad may get to come home Thursday...they will deliver and set up his hospital bed and wheelchair tomorrow.
Lanny was sent home without insulin (they had been giving it to him every day in the hospital), and we are having trouble controlling his blood sugar. Yesterday it was in the 200's and he is taking his usual medicine twice a day...well today it has gone from 300 to 400 to now 500! I finally got the doctor to call in some insulin and Paula has gone down after it. His blood pressure is also quite low. Pray for him. He does NOT want to go back to the hospital!! He says he feels fine and he is eating well, but those numbers are NOT good.
Mom and I are feeling a bit better every day...

Quiet Time...
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Familiar scene...except for the sound of the oxygen machine and seeing the tubes on his face, it's all pretty much as it was. He is still pretty weak and coughs every other breath (which is normal at this point) but his spirits are good and he is getting stronger every minute. He took a nice, long shower last night (sitting on a shower stool) and shaved and then slept well. He is eating well and drinking plenty of water.
Today we will start moving around a little more :-)
I will update on Dad after I hear from his Doctor this morning.God is good!!
