Quiet Time...
“Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31
*****
Dad was up... looking at the monitors he slept from 11 to 2... off and on... but he was up when I came into the living room... I fixed his meds, put on his socks, gave him his coffee and a breakfast burrito and headed for the couch...
Lanny got up around 5 and Max came in and sat on him for awhile, along with the three pups...
Fed the fur kids at 6... did some kitchen things (one of which is emptying the dishwasher)... if I don't do it first thing it is full when I need to fill it at after dinner... I am a very routine person. ;-)
...then I headed out at sunup... hopefully, this is the last night they will spend in the coop together...
we plan to finish the fence today. It isn't supposed to rain...
Yay... my one little egg... I am going to try to get a couple female ducks in the next few weeks so perhaps I will have a couple eggs per day...
Went out to the stalls and gave Dandy and Takoda some carrots... They holler at me if they see me out and about...can't ignore them :-)
In the oven for first rise...
Lanny is cutting up wood scraps for his wood stove...
if it ever gets cold again :-)
If you think all we do is eat around here, you are right!
At least that is the way it feels to me... I seem to LIVE in the kitchen...
Lunch at 11 was grilled cheese...
Bread ready for second rise... shaped in round loaves...
Sat down on the couch to rest for 20 minutes while the stove heated up to bake the bread...
Then we headed out to work on the fence...
Strung it around the run area...it is a 100 foot fence... not as big as they are used to, but we gotta keep them safe... in the spring we will add more fence...
Right out of the shoot Max (the cat) touched it and got shocked...he practically flew over the back fence... I wasn't sure if he would ever come back...but he did...
Then I saw one of the ducks sticking her bill under the fence to get to something and she got shocked!
She squawked and fluttered and worried the rest of the flock...but within an hour they were hunting and pecking and staying away from the fence... I will probably be the next one to be shocked... I am sure I will touch it at least once :-)

For supper we had Panko Breaded Chicken Nuggets, Normandy Veggies, Beets, Rolls and Pudding...
I am stuffed!!
We will watch the second half of Grinch tonight (Sadie fell asleep Tuesday night about half way thru, so we just went on to bed)... then perhaps "It's a Wonderful Life"...
Goodnight Y'all...
God bless us, Every One...
Sweet Dreams
