Thursday on the Farm... January 13

Quiet Time...

Dad was up and had restless legs... 

I gave him a couple Tylenol and he went back to bed...

Bible Study Time...

Helped Mom get ready to go to Methodist for her lung biopsy... 

Paula will take her about 7:15...

Lanny shared his cereal with Max... Milk Maniac...

Casey doesn't like it when his Momma goes away...

but it helps that he has other puppies around...

Dad got back up about 7 and I gave him a Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit...

he watched a little basketball and then went back to bed...

I headed out at daybreak...

My little treasure each morning...

They took Mom back for the biopsy at 9:30 and the procedure took about an hour.

They will watch her until noon and determine if she is ready to come home...

Lanny is working on the pool to get it ready for our new friend Cory and his dad to take it down and haul it off on Saturday... we want to use the deck for a critter house (goats or more chickens) so he is getting that detached from the pool...

He started emptying the water yesterday evening and by this morning...all gone...

Mom is home and doing well... no complications...

We will find out Tuesday what is going on...

Lanny is using the MULE again to knock down posts...

getting more anxious to have the pool gone and put in some top soil...

Lanny has a huge pile of soil down the hill from work he's done...

good topsoil that washed down from up here in the first place...

it will be a great garden spot!!

Had Chili, Corn Chips, Corn Bread and Pudding for supper...

Picked up the puppy landmines, cleaned up the kitchen, put the chicks and ducks to bed and sitting here waiting for Lanny to shower and join me on the couch...

Hobbit #3 tonight.. The Battle of the Five Armies...
