Wednesday in the Wood... January 12

Quiet Time...

“But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.”

‭‭Amos‬ ‭5:24

*****
Daddy was not up... he didn't get up until 6!! I had my entire 90 minutes plus of quiet time with my pack!!

Maggie enjoys Quiet Time...

Deep in study...

...and Dad snoozing away!

Beautiful sky... little bit of aviation artwork :-) but the colors are gorgeous!

My trusty little duck egg...

I fixed Dad's meds, took him his thermos, cup and Breakfast Burrito...
put on his socks and headed for the kitchen to feed the fur kids...

...then at sun up I headed out to the feathered kids!
22 is COLD!!!

Made a Bread Pudding for tonight's Dessert...

Lanny is prepping the yard for the additional electric fence we bought (it came today). We are giving our feathered babies their yard back!

He was using the MULE to knock down the fence posts...two feet of concrete but that MULE pushed them right down!

I made us some Ham and Turkey Sandwiches for lunch...

Sat down for just a few minutes before Mom and I headed down the hill to pick up Sadie from School...

Casey is spending more time in here with us lately... I think he likes being around the other dogs...

Picked up Sadie at 1 and headed back home...

The dogs love her to pieces... and she kinda likes them too..

Doing her homework...

Made some Vanilla Sauce for tonights Bread Pudding...

Also fried up the ground beef for tonights Mexican...

Lanny is taking down fencing (to replace it with electric) and removed some fence behind the pool so that Cody and his Dad can remove the pool on Saturday... then we start working on GARDEN!!!

I have never really liked that white fencing... with all this land I want to SEE it, not be fenced it. The electric fencing is less conspicuous but will keep the critters out and the chicks and ducks safe...
it's exciting!!!

Max playing hide and seek with Murphy and Maggie...

Burritos, Nachos and Bread Pudding for Dessert...

The kitchen is clean, the chicks and ducks are snug as bugs in rugs...
Sadie has gone home and we are settling in to watch more Hobbit... we didn't finish Smaug last night...

Goodnight Y'all...
Remember to pray for Mom... for a good nights rest and uneventful biopsy in the morning... we know God has a plan and we just ask Him to give Mom peace and comfort... we will give Him praise no matter what the report...

God bless us, Every One...
Sweet Dreams...

  1. Covid has hit the family. Luckily Ralph and I are negative. Symptoms seem mild. Shannon and her crew are also ok. Prayers for your mom tomorrow especially for her peace of mind
