Thursday on the Farm... February 17

Quiet Time...

“But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.”

‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:3

*****‬
Dad was up... I took him his meds, thermos and cup, put own his socks, and gave him some of his favorite cake donuts this morning...

Lanny didn't get up with me so Mitzi was checking out his spot...
Maggie and Murphy were in the blankets, as usual...

Lanny came in a little after 5...

Max joined him... he has to be right in the middle of whatever you are doing...

At 6 I made our bed, fed the fur kids, decanted the milk kefir and made sure Mom was up and around. Paula will take her to the Pulmonologist at 7:30...

Headed out at sun up...

I LOVE my chickies and ducks...
anxious to get a few more this spring!!

I cannot go out there without the dogs these days...
that is Casey coming along the fence in his little sweat shirt.

Bread day...

Made the men an Omelette and Toast for Second Breakfast...

First Rise...

Shape and back in the oven for second rise...

Beauty Shop was open today...
Mom and Dad waiting in line :-)
Dad went first because he just needed the back trimmed...

Not too bad...
She likes it, and that's all that matters!!

I made us some Ramen with Sweet Corn for lunch....
then Lanny and I sat down for a short nap...

Mitzi took her bone to the floor to chew in peace :-)

For supper we had Panko Chicken Breasts, Normandy Veggies, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Yams, Crescent Rolls and Pudding for Dessert...

Rob is a bachelor this week (Molly is caregiving for her Aunt in Alabama)
so he joined us for supper...

The dishes are in the washer, the kitchen is clean, the chicks and ducks are in bed, the puppy landmines are picked up and I am ready to put on my Jammies and hit the couch for the next Marvel: The Incredible Hulk!!

Mom has decided no chemo so she will see the Radiologist next week to discuss a treatment plan for a special kind of radiation... just 2 to 5 treatments. Not like the 6 to 8 weeks of radiation we had with breast cancer. So that shouldn't be too hard on her. Continue to pray...

God bless you ALL!!
We love you!

Sweet Dreams...
