Quiet Time...
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.”
James 1:22-24
*****
Dad was up... I took care of him and then settled down with the fur kids...
Lanny didn't get up for awhile...
My little blanket babies...
and Mitzi warming her Daddy's spot...
Dad was eating his Breakfast Burrito and watching Soccer...
Dad went back to bed and if you look closely you can see Max at the foot of his bed...
Max LOVES laying in Dad's bed!!
Wednesday is Meds Day... I get all their meds ready for the week...
Decanted the milk and the water kefir...
Headed out back at sunup...
Pretty, except for the writing in the sky.
You may not be able to see the trails, but they were there...
Waiting not so patiently...
nothing new :-)
Had to burn some trash...
The dogs were scouting for treats (haha)...
Sleepy fish... but soon they will perk up!
Eggs, Sausage and Toast for Second Breakfast...
for the men...
Mom just wanted Toast and Jelly...
so did the puppies...
Lanny is laying my Valentines present...
The previous owners left us some pretty ugly water damage...
when we moved in we didn't want to mess with it yet.
Lanny found some waterproof flooring at a really good price...
Gray that is very complimentary to the cabinets...
He is still putting the molding around the floor and the threshold...
But I love it already!
Went out to check the nest boxes and the yard...
no duck egg in the duck house this morning so I figured I might find one in the yard.
I didn't take my camera out but I DID find the duck egg
right out in the middle of the yard,
and Coconuts' egg in the nest box...
Sadie hard at work...
For supper we had HOT DOGS!!!
Chili, cheese, relish and all the other yummy fixin's!
Add potato chips and Panettone Cake and extra YUMMY!
so he won't be home til around 8:30.
I will watch old Star Trek episodes (surprise :-) )...
Mom goes to see the Pulmonologist tomorrow morning to see if he recommends an Endoscopic exam/biopsy of the lymph nodes. Hopefully this will be the last determining factor for any care decisions we need to make...
Pray for discernment on ALL our parts!
God bless you all...
Sweet Dreams!
