Tuesday in the Hills... February 1

Quiet Time...

Mom's midnight infusion time :-)

Dad was up, but again, I told him I was a figment of his imagination...

not time for breakfast :-)

... thirty minutes later, back to bed til 3:45...

Dad was still up so I gave him his meds, his inhaler, 

his coffee and his choice for first breakfast...

he chose a donut today..

Then I settled down for Quiet Time...

Dad was having all kinds of trouble this morning so I was up and down several times, but did manage to get all my study time in AND my devotional blog posted... 

better late than never...

I got Mom all infused at 6:30 and I decanted the milk kefir and made our probiotic drinks...

Made the beds and fed the fur kids 

and headed out in the COLD to take care of the fowl...

Waiting NOT so patiently...

One duck egg in the box and no chicken egg today...

Made Dad and Lanny an egg, sausage and toast for second breakfast...

if you have not seen Lord of the Rings you may not get that joke...

Dog Days...

I reheated the left over baked potatoes for lunch... yum...

and we sat down for a short little siesta...

Then our sweet neighbor came up and asked if Lanny wanted to haul dirt today to fill the pool area...

so, Mike brought his tractor with a front loader up and got to work...

The fish were a bit active today in the warm weather and sunshine... 

but we still don't feed them...

Lanny was spreading the dirt and I made him rest between... 

he overdoes sometimes...

I actually left the compound to get Sadie at three... it was fun!!

And on the way home we saw my friends in the Ponderosa Zoo pasture... I love these bulls but sure do miss Tuck... he is with the ladies at the zoo and has already made a few little Tucks...

And the camels were out!

The men were still at it...

I made Baked Stir Fried Rice, Shrimp, Egg Rolls and Chicken Nuggets for Dinner...

we didn't have Family Night, per se... so we ate around 5 and Robbie joined us...

then I made a take out for Paula and Shelly...

The yard is picked up, the kitchen is clean, the fowl kids are in for the night...

we may watch the end of Journey to the Center of the Earth...
