Wednesday in the Wood ... February 2

Quiet Time...

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1:3-4‬

Up for Mom's Infusion...
got her hooked up and sat down with the pups for thirty minutes...

Then back to bed til... uh oh, I overslept... it's 4:03!!! :-)
I don't have an alarm but these midnight runs are getting to me...
tonight will be the last one...

Got Dad's stuff together (he wasn't up) and then sat down with my crew...

Dad got up around 5, took his meds, ate his donuts (his choice), drank some coffee and went right back to bed...   until about 6:30... then he got up and wanted a biscuit!
I am not sure how to deal with boredom eating. We don't want him to gain weight.
It will greatly affect his mobility and other things....

Gave Mom her 6:30AM infusion and fed the pups and kitty (they were chomping at the bit... they want it to be 6AM!!!)

Headed out at sunrise...
It was magnificent!!!

Red sky at morning...

Feathered kids were ready to get out!

Duck egg IN the duck house :-)

The Fireplace repairman, Mike, came back to replace the pilot light...
it worked perfectly for about two hours after he left and then just went out...
I could not get it lit and can't even get a spark...
I called the company... I hate doing it but it has cost quite a bit for two visits so it should be working...

We ate Turkey on Hawaiian Rolls for lunch (that makes such a good sandwich) and then Lanny and I rested... just for a few minutes because then the United Medical technician came to check Dad's oxygen machine...
always something these days!

Coconut's egg this afternoon... almost pink.
Really pretty...

Coconut is the white chicken...

Sadie doing what Sadie loves doing... her artwork...
she loves to draw and design in her dress designer book...

For supper I made Burritos with all the fixin's...

It started raining so we hurried out to pick up the puppy piles
and put the feathered kids to bed...

...the kitchen is cleaned up, Sadie is out playing on the hay bales in the horse barn... she loves sitting up high watching Paula and Shelly clean stalls :-)

The barn cats, hard at work :-)

Sadie and her hay bales...

Paula is filling water buckets...

Lanny will head back to the church in a bit to do sound for Wednesday night services and I will watch some old Star Treks and do Mom's last 6:30 PM infusion...
only three more to go!!! Yay!

Goodnight Sweet Family and Friends!
God bless you, One and All!!

Sweet Dreams.....
