Friday on the Farm... March 18

Quiet Time...

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this:
to visit orphans and widows in their affliction,
and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”

‭‭James‬ ‭1:27

*****

Dad got up when I turned on the lights :-)

Took him his morning goodies and made him a Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit...
Then headed for the couch and Study Time...

Max joined us for a little while...

He thinks his Daddy's track pad is his pillow :-)

Made beds, fed fur kids, decanted milk and water kefir...

... and piddled around til first light...
this is out the big bay doors about 20 minutes before sunup...

Paula was getting her horses up and around...
this picture proves how fast she was moving!!!
Whew!

Here Comes The Sun!

They are starting to get excited when I bring the oatmeal bowl out.
It took them a few days to realize what I was doing and now they stand around the big tub waiting for me to pour in their oatmeal :-) I put milk kefir and some apple cider vinegar in it to ferment...

I think the ducks got too excited to come out and stepped on the egg...
it was punctured and I had to just feed it to the flock...

Willow laid this sometime in the early morning...

Made some Pancakes and Sausage for Dad and Lanny...
Second Breakfast...

Dad is feeling much better today...
he is able to eat!

Max LOVES to get in Dad's bed...
He often sleeps with him when he is napping...

Mid morning haul...
Popcorn, Sugar, Coconut and Goldie...
makes 5 chicken eggs so far today...

Made some Chicken Salad Sandwiches and some Deli Turkey Sandwiches with Chips and Salsa...

Then to the couch for our Siesta.
It was raining and storming so Mitzi was trembling and panting...
Poor little thing. She HATES storms!

I looked on the camera to check on Mom and she was napping...
Mitzi had gone in there when I got up to continue her nap as well :-)

I had to go in and get a picture of the Queen of Sheba !!

For supper we had Baked Whiting Fish, Buttered Garlic Noodles,
Green Beans and Carrots...

The kitchen is clean, the puppy land mines are picked up, I am in my jammies
and Lanny will be heading for the shower shortly.

We finished Avatar last night... not sure what will be next.
Lanny selects the movies...

Mom is off radiation for the weekend, but so far so good.
No ill effects and she enjoys the daily visits.
She took the brownies I made them today :-)

Goodnight Y'all...
God bless us, Every One!

Sweet Dreams!
