Dad wasn't up...
Got his stuff together by the time he DID get up :-)
Made him a Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit...
First Breakfast...
Lanny and I and the pack in Quiet Time...
the spy cam :-)
6 AM... Made the bed, fed the fur kids,
decanted the kefir...
broken record...
Then headed out to the chicks and ducks...
One duck egg and later in the morning a Coconut egg...
I made Dad and Lanny some French Toast
and Pancakes for Second Breakfast :-)

Took Dad to the doctor at 9...
the Shingles are NOT in the eye.
We will go back next Tuesday to be sure it doesn't go there,
but Doc said his eye looks good.
His face looks awful but he doesn't have the headache any longer,
just the blisters...

Made Tuna Sandwiches for lunch, using the big Kaiser rolls I had left over.
YUM!
After lunch Lanny and I went down the hill to pick up a prescription for Dad -
an ointment for the blisters. We also went to Food City to pick up a few things.
And stopped in at the CoOp...
On the way we saw the Ponderosa Zoo Shetlands in the field.
They are so cute. If you notice, several are playing dead :-)
Max is meeting Cash... I think they like each other.
At the CoOp we picked up a tray of Brussels Sprouts and Cabbage.
It's hard to see but they are planted :-)
For Supper we had Baked Potatoes and Salad
with Pudding for Dessert.
YUM!
Lanny picked up the puppy landmines while I cleaned up the kitchen.
I am going to start letting the chicks and ducks stay out a little later...
I will go out around 6-6:30 to put them to bed
(in my jammies :-))...
Mom's Radiology appointment has been rescheduled for Thursday...
they will be "rehearsing" the treatment,
and setting up the procedure...
Tonight we will watch Ant Man...
