Tuesday in the Hills... March 15

Quiet Time...

“no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from Me, declares the Lord.””
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:17‬
*****
Dad was up...

All his necessities and two little Sausage Biscuits :-)

Then to Quiet Time...
Study Buddies... even Max!

Mitzi is a little anti-social... she prefers her privacy :-)

6 AM....made the bed and fed the fur kids...

Took care of a few inside chores and then headed out at day break...

The usual duck gifts :-)

Fed Dad and Lanny Fried Eggs, Sausage and my Waffle Biscuits...

The pond is ready to start filling... he is leaving the liner uncut until it is full...

Made Turkey Sandwiches, Chips and Salsa for lunch.
Mom also has to drink a High Protein Ensure.
She is supposed to have 75 g of protein per day during radiation treatment...

*****

The ducks couldn't wait to try out the pond... they were in it as it was filling!

Fed the fur kids at 2... they eat breakfast at 6 and dinner at 2...

Almost full... they LOVE it!!

The babies... these ladies are about the same size as Bucky now! They are growing in front of my eyes, but I want to keep them separated just a few more days.
I sure don't want him to hurt them.

The lettuce, spinach, kale, cabbage and Brussels sprouts are just fine.
Snow and very low temps didn't even phase them!

Spring Break... Sadie is here.
We've been out with the chickens and supervising the duck pond all day...
forgot to take pictures of all that :-)

One of my old ladies is in the nesting mood...
don't know if she's laid an egg yet...

Both Maran's were in the box so I don't know which one did it...
but this makes 8 eggs today!!!
And as I've mentioned, the Maran's are nearly 7
and had not laid an egg for many months!!

Hot Dogs for supper!

After supper Sadie and I went out to watch Paula work :-)
Cleaning Dandy's stall...

I love the horses nearly as much as the chickens :-)
They are SO beautiful.

Well, we watched half of Australia last night...
it's a long one so we will watch the rest tonight.

Lanny is out somewhere on the MULE :-)
Sadie is making a Spotify play list
and I am finishing this post.

Mom's second radiation was very uneventful.
They told her tomorrow would take even less time... she is thrilled :-)

Goodnight Y'all...
God bless and Sweet Dreams!!
