Tuesday on the Farm... March 22

Quiet Time...
“And the Lord will be king over all the earth.
On that day the Lord will be one and His name one.”
‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭14:9‬

*****
Dad wasn't up, but he saw the light I suppose :-)
and got up around 4:15...
it gave me time to get his stuff together...

Inhaler, meds, thermos, coffee,
and a Breakfast Burrito!

I checked the chicken cam, as I do every morning...

This was like 4AM... WAY before sunrise...
both our roosters were all day/all night crowers...
So cute!!

Quiet Time... with the pack... except Mitzi.
Max joined us today...

Now this was about 45 minutes before sunup...
the birds are singing and the ladies are getting restless...

Max helps his Daddy read...

6 AM: Made the beds and fed the fur kids...

Mitzi always takes her time coming to breakfast...
she nearly has to be begged :-)
But that futon IS mighty comfortable...
It's at the foot of our bed for her AND for Sadie when she spends the night :-)

When she finally makes it in she looks at her food for five minutes like,
"do I have to eat this?"
But she eventually does :-)
Funny how your kids never like really healthy foods :-)

Out at sunup...
The ducks are always squawking to get out!!

I don't leave food out at night so they are always hungry...

My little overnight treasures!
I'm sure I told you that ducks lay at night, chickens early to mid morning...
but my chickens lay all during the day.
Nothing we have is normal :-)

... the ducks went straight for the water
and Willow and Coconut went to the edge for a nice cold drink!

Look at those adorable Fluffy Butts!

Still tearing up the new planting bed...
I'll fix that! I will put a bunch more rocks in it!

Made pancakes for Dad and Lanny... second breakfast :-)

Lanny is putting a hinge on the chicken door...
Eggggggcellent!

Popcorn, Sugar and Coconut...

This is typical late morning activity...
the girls are all wanting the same next box and fussing at each other!

He is a busy boy today...
he is also putting more roost bars
in the other corner of the coop for the new girls...

AND, he had to repair the hose after being out in the weather all winter...
we use it all winter so we cannot put it away, but it does compromise the fittings...

For supper we had Salmon Cakes, Mac and Cheese, Spinach and Pudding...

Awwwwww... afternoon eggs...

Coconut and Coppertina....

And! Goldie....
Makes 8 eggs today!

The dishes are washed, kitchen is cleaned up,
back yard is cleaned up...

We finished Pelican Brief last night...
not sure what tonight will be, but it'll be another Denzel Washington...

Mom did radiation number 7 today. Still not having any issues with it.
Molly went with them and so Mom, Paula and Molly ate at Hoskins Drug Store :-)
I LOVE Hoskins!!!

Well, Goodnight Family and Friends.
We sure do love you all!!

God bless,
Sweet Dreams!
