Friday on the Farm... April 1

Quiet Time...

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand
against the schemes of the devil.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:11
*****

Praise the Lord, I feel almost myself again :-)
And NO FOOLIN'!!

I'm ready to face the day without fainting!!
Dad got up shortly after seeing the lights on.
I made his Breakfast Burrito and took it in with his other morning necessities..
Then I settled in for my Quiet Time...

Lanny usually gets up a few minutes after me and has to do his blood sugar testing and insulin shot, so it takes him awhile to get to the couch...
Mitzi will keep his spot warm and then she usually heads to the futon...

When I finish up Study time around 6 I move Max off the bed
and he comes in to sit with his Daddy... Mitzi had to be run off as well,
so she came in and sat down in my empty spot :-)

Made our bed and fed the fur kids...

...and then made a pan of brownies for Mom to take to Thompsons on her last day of Radiation. She loves all the staff there and we are so thankful to all of them for making her feel so positive about the whole situation!!

Then at daybreak I headed out to the fowl...
Fermented oatmeal in hand.
I am putting Turmeric, Oregano and Cayenne in it
because I have a couple girls with a little cough...

Only one duck egg today... its Gabby's...

Decanted water kefir (and the milk earlier)...

Fed Dad and Lanny some French Toast Sticks and Sausage
for Second Breakfast :-)

Mom and Paula went to the last Radiation Treatment
and then to Shoney's for a Celebration Brunch...

I vacuumed and mopped the entire house
and then fed Dad and Lanny a Turkey Sandwich...

And of course we had to rest for a bit after lunch...
Mom stepped on Casey and fell into the closet about 10 minutes in so I mostly just relaxed when I got back on the couch...
Lanny always rests enough for the both of us :-)
Oh, and Mom is OK... she didn't fall far
but she did get a booboo on her elbow...
I put a bandaid on it and THEN sat back down for R&R...

Popcorn and Sugars' contribution for the day...
I also got an egg from Goldie but didn't get a picture...

These Baby Huey-ellas are getting too big to cuddle up but still try...
they all get in one nest box at night and I KNOW they are on top of each other...
I see that stopping just any day!

Lanny has the pond walls done... now we have to figure out how to get the water cleared up... we have a circulating pump in there but it's in full sun so I think we are going to have to get some barley straw...

You cannot see it very well, but trust me,
there are little green buds on my Cranberry Viburnum!

I warmed up all the Chinese Left Overs from last night
and added a few Chicken Nuggets just in case. It was MORE than enough
so I took Rob a really nice "take out" box!

One more egg for the day... Coconuts....
That makes 6!

Mom's Graduation Certificate :-)
She is DONE!!!
Three Weeks! Now we wait til May 3 to see how well the treatments worked...
Pray for good results if that is God's will...

Thank you all for your prayers for Mom... they are working...
and thank you for your prayers for me this week because they worked as well :-)

Tonight we will watch the last Men in Black...
Maybe have some popcorn...

God bless us, Every One!!
Goodnight, and Sweet Dreams!
