Friday on the Farm ... April 15

Quiet Time...
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:16 KJV
*****
Dad was up...

Lewis Pack Study Time...

Ran Max out of the bed at 6...

He was ready for breakfast...

Giving me the eye...
two of them!

Sun's coming up!

Water kefir day...

Eggs, Sausage and Toast for Second Breakfast...

Making Bread...

A Pearl White and Coconut...

First rise...

Ready for second rise...

And then!!! Finally we are getting our additional power.
We had to go before the zoning board and jump thru all kinds of hoops.
Too long a story to go into here, but the bottom line is the Board ruled in our favor and we can have more power up here on the hill!
CUB came in and gave us another 200 amps to add to our existing 200 amps
and we are good to go!!
Well, as soon as Hero comes and hooks up the box.

I got Mom into the bed this morning
and she says it feels so good to lie down.

While the CUB man was up there Lanny asked if he could take down that crooked rooster weather vane...Maggie has a HISSIE FIT every time she notices it.
I think she believes whatever it is will swoop down and get her :-)

Goldie egg...

Made some Ramen for lunch...
it was a bit late because they had the power off for about 30 minutes...

*****

Willow egg...

Got her into the bed again after lunch...
a bit easier each time so I think she may be on the mend...
Keep praying!

Here are the four little girls that are left
...we lost two of them to an unknown illness...
hopefully these do not also have it.
So far they seem well.
*****
This is Coco

This is Opal...
light blue streaks in her tail and wings...

This is Saphire...
a bit more blue in her tail and wings...

And this is Amber...
The gold mixed with brown...
she is actually the biggest girl as well...

So, there you have it...
Hopefully we won't lose any more of them...
these girls seem bright and feisty...

*****

Warmed up some left over Spaghetti and made some Chili Mac and Salad for Supper.

Mom ate in her room but cleaned her plate :-)
AND, she got back into the bed by herself!!!

The kitchen is cleaned up, the pup piles are removed, the chicken feed is put safely away. I am in my Jammies and Lanny is out in the MULE. He should be home shortly to shower and get his jammies on, and then we will watch another John Wayne movie... we have quite a few in our library because he is one of our favorites!!!

Goodnight Family and Friends!
Continue to lift Mom up in your prayers and you can always add Dad
and all of us caregivers...

God bless America...
God bless YOU ALL!
Sweet Dreams!
