Dad wasn't up yet, but Mom was!
She got up at 3 to get ready for a 9:20 doctors appointment...
she won't drink anything because she would have to go to the restroom and won't eat anything (for the same reason) and then wonders why her blood pressure is high at the doctor's office. Please pray for her... she frets about everything and it causes her so much trouble... I suppose that is why the Lord told us NOT to fret!!
I sat down with my pack and waited for Dad to get up...
he turned his light on about 4:30 so I got him situated
and then came back to the couch...
... til about 5:45... then I hit the floor...
made the bed, fed the kids...
and headed out the door!
I cannot wait til these tomatoes are climbing up those cages!!!
The usual two duck eggs...
I decanted the water kefir and threw out the berries and raisins
for the chickies and ducks...
this is the view from the kitchen window...
they do love their probiotics!!
Made some jello for tonight's dessert...
And I did my weekly grocery shopping...
InstaCart! I love this service. I haven't been in a grocery store twice since October...
this is a GodSend when you are stuck in the house!!
Made Dad and Lanny some French Toast and Sausage for breakfast...
Mom and Paula headed out to the Doctors...
today was a follow-up with the Radiologist.
He said she is doing great. There is no reason for the treatment or her condition to affect her appetite, she has only lost five pounds (she has been saying 10) and he feels that he has arrested the progress of the tumor.
We will know for sure in June when she has the CT scan.
Sugar is doing her thing in the middle nest box...

Lanny stepped on my little deco stepping stone and broke it
so he was putting it back together with Gorilla Glue!!
I hope these two babies are getting some pointers on egg laying...
it is about time for them to start!

Now Popcorn did her thing...
so far only two duck eggs and two Pearl Whites...
I think this heat has slowed them down...
Paula is getting two Mini-Split Units in her house...
she has been using a window air conditioner and a wood stove...
this will be SO nice for her...
She has one in her living room and one in her bedroom...
Hero Services is doing the install...
we have used them for our Septic, they did the new electrical
and now Paula's Mini Splits. They do great work and are very reasonable!!

We had Grilled Chicken Sandwiches and Fries for Supper...
Lanny picked up the puppy piles, I cleaned up the kitchen
and headed out to put the feed trays away.
Tonight we will watch Twins... DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger... so cute!
