Tuesday on the Hill... May 3

Quiet Time...

“no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from Me, declares the Lord.””
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:17

*****

Dad didn't get up until nearly 6,
so I got all his goodies ready and settled in for Quiet Time...

Lanny slept in a bit...

At 6 I had to run these two out of the bed...
of course!

Max is unconcerned. He doesn't even flinch when I pick him up.
He is the sweetest, most laid back little kitty we've ever had... We ADORE him!!
Even when he brings in critters thru the dog door :-)

Daybreak...

Out to my other babies!

These chicks have just GOT TO GROW UP eventually!!

Two duck eggs in the duck house...

Lanny and Paula discussing stuff!

A Pearl White and Goldie early this morning...

I fed Lanny and Dad some Breakfast Pancake/Sausage Dogs...

*****

Lanny had to work at the church this morning...but when he got home
I made some Ham Sandwiches for lunch, and then we sat down for a rest...

Mitzi chews on that bone til she's just worn out...

Coconut and Willow's contribution for the day...

A toad in the back yard...
from the looks of the duck pond (full of tadpoles)
we may be seeing lots of these in the future!

Lanny ran down to pick up Sadie at the Bus Stop at 3:00...
The pups are always excited when anyone comes in the back door...

Made Hotdogs and Tater Tots  and Salad for dinner...

Robbie came over for take out! :-)

The lone Blue Bird Baby is doing fine.
Momma and Daddy are getting a little more vocal when I open the box.
I probably won't do it any more...Once the baby starts getting bigger it might scare him and he'd fall out of the nest...

Sadie watching some videos that were taken in her class today.

Went out to put the chicken feed away but left the fermented food for the babies
to get a few more bites... the big girls bully them and they don't always get their fill...

Lanny hauled the burn barrel out to the trash pile
to dump the undigested garbage ... :-)
then he brought it back empty and ready to start all over...
I need to go out there and sift thru the ashes and bring the soft, sifted ash up here for the chickens to play in... it's good for their skin...

So, the puppy piles are picked up, Sadie is on the way home with her sister Shelby and Lanny is in the shower. We will watch "The Longest Day" tonight.
It's a long one so we may have to do it in two sittings...

Mom has walked around more today than in the last several weeks. Even went out thru the barn to the bay doors to look at the horses...
she is much better but can still use your prayers.

Goodnight Family and Friends...
God bless us, Every One!
Sweet Dreams
