Saturday on the Mountain... July 2

Quiet Time...

Dad was up...

I got him situated with coffee and his meds 

and made him a couple Biscuit Roll Ups...

Then I settled down with my pack... 

Lanny joined me about 4:30...

At 5:45 I headed for the bedroom to remove whatever growths were on the bed :-)

Had two today... Mitzi...

...and Max...

...took them both into the living room 

and they settled in with their Daddy...

Made the bed and fed the fur kids and headed out back...

Then I ran over to the horses..

they didn't get a carrot yesterday :-(

Dandy MAY have remembered that :-) 

Takoda gave me the evil eye as well :-)

Luke always shows up although I have never given him any treats...

I don't think he likes carrots :-)

Speaking of carrots...

I snagged 12 pounds of organic carrots at Costco 

and started prepping to can...

this is 6 pounds...

Seven Pints...

ready for the canner...

Brought in the two duck eggs 

and one from Amber :-)

Pints are finished and sealing...

Prepped the other 6 pounds and filled the quart jars...

...ready to put in the canner...

Lanny fixed the turtle pen so the dogs cannot get in... 

they always want to search out whatever feed I give to the turtles... no more!!!

Goldie and Coconut are on duty...

Sealing...

Made some Grilled Cheese for lunch...

Lanny and I sat down for a few minutes after lunch 

but didn't really snooze...,

he wanted to finish some mowing...

For supper we had Northern Beans on Mimi Bread (my homemade bread), 

Broccoli, Tater Tots and Cinnamon Applesauce and Graham Crackers...

Lanny and I ran down in the MULE to look for the lid to his thermal cup 

that he lost during his mowing... we didn't find it :-(

We also got the mail.

The pup piles are gone, the chicken feed is safe, 

he is in the shower and I am finishing this post...

Last night we watched the last Left Behind 

and the first Episode of Picard...

Not sure what we will do tonight...

I'll tell you tomorrow...
