Quiet Time...
“Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to Me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in Me shall never thirst.”
John 6:35 ESV
Daddy was still in bed...
...and he didn't get up until 6!
So we sat like this for over 90 minutes...
VERY nice Quiet Time!!!
Maggie loves it!!
I got busy around 5:45, made the bed, fed the furry kids,
took care of Daddy when he got up, did a little kitchen prep for todays dinner
and headed out to the birds...
Penny's egg...
... and Gabby's egg...
actually he was on the umbrella pole when I opened it
and I put him in a flower pot...
Goldie on the job...
she did lay an egg...
Amber laid one as well...
didn't take the camera out :-)
A Pearl White...
Sunday Lunch...
Spaghetti...
James and Tasha didn't come since Lanny had been exposed to Covid at camp...
she is still at high risk and does not take any chances...
After lunch Lanny and I sat down with the Pack...
it was storming (thundering) so Mitzi was shaking and panting...
I think Maggie was trying to comfort her.
Mitzi doesn't like fireworks either so I am dreading tonight and tomorrow...
well, right now it is raining so perhaps tonight we will get a reprieve...
So, it's still raining.
Lanny went out to his shop to play guitar...
we probably won't pick up the pup piles tonight...
makes it awful tomorrow but it IS raining...
I'll feed Mom and Dad some Chicken Noodle Soup it a few minutes...
Lanny will make some Guacamole for him and Mom
and I will probably eat some other snack.
I give Dad Cracker Jacks when we aren't popping regular corn.
I also give Mom her Boost Plus
and perhaps a mini ice cream sandwich for them both.
They do NOT go to bed hungry over here :-)
We watched Ten Commandments to the intermission last night (Charlton Heston)
and will finish it tonight. Perhaps we will watch episode 2 of Picard.
Goodnight Y'all...
God bless America on this Independence Day!!!
...and every day!
Sweet Dreams!
