Thursday on the Mountain... September 8

Quiet Time...

Mom had a rough evening last night so I was up several times checking on her. 

I have some home test strips for UTI and had checked yesterday.. she has recurring infections and they often cause her to be confused and weak.

 Her Doctor called in a prescription and Lanny will be able to pick that up today...

Hopefully that will help her some.

Keep her in your prayers...

Dad was up...

Lanny came out shortly after and we had a nice, quiet study time with all three of the dogs this morning... Murphy was on my right, Mitzi on my left, and Maggie over toward her Daddy... she was a bit annoyed that Mitzi beat her to my side... :-)

Made the bed and fed the fur kids...

Headed out to the back lot...

Made the men an Omelet, Sausage and Toast...

Brownies for tonights Dessert...

Jenice and her Mom are coming for a visit and bringing PIZZA!!!

YUM!!! Two treats in one...

getting to see my friends and enjoy a favorite meal!

For lunch I warmed up the Spaghetti...

Mom enjoyed her plate in her room with the usual audience...

And we took a short snooze afterwards...

My new ALL AMERICAN 921 Canner came today!!!

Tomorrow I am canning Spaghetti Sauce!!!

just to break it in...

I've been using one of Wendy's older canners for the last couple months...

because my canner was on back order...

Sugar laid a perfectly smooth egg today...

she goes back and forth between designer and smooth :-)

Well, Jenice and her Momma (Elaine) came and brought us pizza and salad and cake... Jenice twisted her ankle at her house getting in the car and by the time they got here she was hurting and swollen. She couldn't walk further than the tables out in the common area...

We ate our pizza and had a great visit but I didn't have my phone...

so no pictures. Just visualize us having some yummy pizza and good fellowship!

Jenice will probably have to go to the doctor for that foot so say a little prayer for her... she is a teacher and tomorrow is a big day at school... she may have to call in!
