Wednesday in the Wood... September 7

Quiet Time...

Daddy got up around 4:30...

so did Lanny...

I read a little before I had to pop up and get his stuff...

But then I settled back down beside my Morning Study Buddies...

Max was being his usual annoying self...

He insists on Lanny's complete attention 

and won't let him use his hands on the keyboard :-)

I hit the floor at around 5:45 

and made the bed and the fur kids were ALL watching the clock!

I fed them their breakfast 

and then waited til it was light enough to go out to the feathered kids...

The horses were hollering at me too...

Where is my carrot!?

And as usual, once they are done snacking 

they have to spar a little..

The Common Area is looking so inviting...

Three inches yesterday!!

From the kitchen window...

For Breakfast I fed Dad and Lanny some French Toast and Sausage.

Mom ate her prunes...

Decanted the Kefir and took the berries out to the chickens...

Lanny had to go down to the church to check on some things 

and then go by Home Depot for a switch for the over the sink light 

that he is putting up for me...

So, he made lunch!

He brought us lunch from Taco Bell!!!

Then we took a little Siesta...

I gave the chickens and ducks some lettuce that was a bit past good 

(they don't mind)...

And then Lanny and I headed down to the UT Extension Office 

at the Court House to get the gauges on my canners checked...

it was FUN!!!

Were never leave Mom and Dad alone even for a minute!!

So when I am gone Paula comes over and stays with them

til I get back...

He finished putting in the light over my sink...

isn't it pretty!? 

I put a mirror up as well because I hate looking into a wall.

I love a window over the sink but this is second best :-)

For Supper we had Spaghetti and Salad

with Garlic Bread!

And Peach Cobbler for Dessert...

with Ice Cream.

I forgot to take a picture so here it is half eaten :-)

Evening Chores are done...

I am ready to call it a day!

We watched Mission Impossible 1 last night...

tonight will be number 2...
