Monday on Walden's Mountain... March 20

Quiet Time...

"Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good.
He that doeth good is of God:
but he that doeth evil hath not seen God."
3 John 1:11 KJV
*****
I slept in :-)

Daddy's morning fare...

he got up just as I was sitting down :-)

But my fur babies waited patiently for me...

Into the Light!

This one will be harvested today!

Two day germination...

This one needs another day of Black Out!

Oh man! It is SO cold!!

Cinnamon Toast for the men!

And then down the hill for Dad's Pulmonary Doctor visit...

Lanny went with us so that while we were in the office

he could run over to Food City and pick up candy

for Wednesday's Freeze Dried orders :-)

For lunch I warmed up yesterdays Chili Ramen.

Dad and Lanny both ate it on Street Taco Tortillas.

They LOVE it!

Making Bread...

what else is new!

Lanny helped me cut and prep candy for the freeze dryer.,..

Nice Rise!

I LOVE watching the candy puff up in the freeze dryer.

The trays get warm and melt the candy just enough

so that when the vacuum comes on the water is sucked out

and the candy puffs up into air...

most of the candies just disappear in your mouth.

SO good!!!

Cleaned hutches today...

Yes, it was COLD

but I waited until the hutches were in full sun

and that helped a lot!

The ducks don't care at all how cold it is...

Ladies doing their thing...

This is Roxanne...

This is Nebula...

Ready for the oven!

Harvest time...

Then the tray goes to the chickies...

Popcorn Shrimp, Fries, Mexican Veggies

and Our Home Grown Lettuce and Microgreen Salad!

Chores are done...

We are ready for a movie...

Last night we watched World War Z

with Brad Pitt...    yea, zombies... :-)

Tonight we will watch Midway...

an oldie with Charlton Heston, Henry Fonda

and a bunch of other greats!

Goodnight Y'all!

We love you ALL

and thank you for your prayers.

Mom is eating 3 or 4 baby food puree pouches a day

and drinking water.

She doesn't move at all but doesn't seem to be in pain...

if I ask her, she says no.

We are thankful for that.

*****

God bless

and

Sweet Dreams!
