Bible Study Time...

And Casey has made himself at home in the bean bag...

Flock and Fluffle...

and Fins!

Well, it's been several days in a row.

I sure hope they keep this up...

One of them has also laid under the Goat Ledge 

all these days in a row...

but at least I know where to look.

I am getting 11 to 13 eggs per day from these ladies!!!

The transplants are all doing well...

Next week I will move them into the Barn Greenhouse...

Made the Men some Duck Egg, 

Pepper and Onion Omelets with Bacon Bits,

Toast and Banana Bread...

Getting ready to work on Rob and Molly's water...

Paula and I went to Sharps to pick up Mom's ashes...

It has been a hectic week 

but I feel like it is going to settle down now...

Lanny is also running me some water 

to the Barn Greenhouse and also out 

to the Goat/Chicken yard... 

just easier access for the water troughs 

AND for any extra garden watering we need to do.

I try not to water the garden much... 

the roots tend to go deeper when you don't water 

except in extreme heat/draught conditions...

Sparkley Day...

I put a cage in the coop just in case 

we cannot keep the other hens out of Peppers nest 

when we bring her the eggs... 

but we are going to start out with her 

in the nest box she chose...

Made Sloppy Joes for Supper...

And Microgreen Salad of course...

Then we headed to Oliver Springs 

to pick up some fertilized eggs...

She only had nine but I think that will be just right...

Pepper is a little girl and young, 

and a dozen may have been too many 

for her to start with...

We stopped at Sonic on the way home 

and got some milkshakes...

Daddy LOVES milkshakes and he kept saying

"this has been a great day!"

He is easily pleased these days :-)

I sweet talk this pretty lady 

and try to make sure she feels safe and secure...

I slowly put the eggs all around her 

and hopefully she will pull each one to the spot 

she wants under her... This is SO exciting... 

an experiment, for sure, but who knows...

we may get some chicks!!!

We are starting a bit later than usual 

but will watch Galaxy Quest...

if you haven't seen it, you should...

it is a spoof on Star Trek and SO good...

Even the Star Trek gang LOVED it!!!
