Monday on Walden's Mountain... June 19

Quiet Time...

Rise and Swim...

yea, it's raining this morning...

and it is supposed to ALL week!


Dad didn't get up til nearly 7

but I was ready for him :-)





Microgreen Time...

These two ready for Black Out...

Lettuce came in thick!

It will need some thinning :-)


Finally a spinach sprout coming up!



Ready to swim out to the Barnyard...

Won't be any frolicking out there today...

Goats do NOT like rain...


Chickens don't mind a little rain,

but run for cover if it gets heavy...



The goats will hang out in their house
 
as long as it is raining...


Rain?

Fish can take it or leave it :-)




Turtles don't mind it either...


Veggies finished freeze drying...


Ready to put into jars...

these will be for shorter term storage...

Mylar is best if it is going to be more than a year...


Lanny is paining the bathroom now...

It is exciting!!!

I don't like to paint

but I love a freshly painted room!!!


More veggies into the freeze dryer...

peas and carrots...


This boy is now MY dog...

he never leaves me...

wherever I am he is under my feet...

The rain let up for a few minutes 

so they were able to come out
 
and run off a little of that excess energy!









Warmed up the left over spaghetti, 

added salad and garlic toast (very toasted :-))...

YUM!!




Ready for the evening festivities...
Jammies and a movie :-)

I think we are going to start on

Harry Potter tonight...

we still have several John Wayne movies 

but just have a hankering for some Potter :-)
