Quiet Time...

πŸ‡πŸŽ

“Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forever. From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the Lord is to be praised.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭113‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NASB

“All the kings of the earth will give thanks to You, O Lord, when they have heard the words of Your mouth. And they will sing of the ways of the Lord, for great is the glory of the Lord. The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭138‬:‭4‬-‭5‬, ‭8‬ ‭NASB

“To the faithful You show yourself faithful; to those with integrity You show integrity.”

2 Samuel 22:26

It's Thursday!!!

Wake up, Sleepyheads!

Time for Devotions and Bible Study
with the Pack!

When she isn't standing up
she really looks like a Dachshund...
but those legs just ruin the illusion when she stands...
Her Momma was full Dachshund,
but her Daddy ?????
That is why they were taking them to the pound
when we intervened...
They really missed out on a GREAT dog!!!

Day Three (actually 2 1/2)...

And Day 5... still in Black Out...

And Day 10...
nearing time for harvest...

I really like this Fall Color...
I should be getting my HUGE crochet needle today
so I may start on the Chunky Yarn...

They already ate, of course,
but you know the drill!

Out to the Barnyard...
it is supposed to be a real scorcher today...
forecast says 98 degrees!!!

Basil and Marigolds...
My Basil is starting to flower...
I should have picked a bit more,
but the bees love it this way...

This girl is a MESS!!!

But SO adorable!!

You probably already do this,
but if not,
use your potato masher if you are frying
up a whole lot of ground beef...
might as well use a tool for multiple jobs!!

Ruminating...

Ground Beef ready to pre-freeze
and then in to freeze dryer tomorrow...

I love these tray lids...
they stack so easily
and don't take up too much space in the freezer...
But I don't use my freezer much anymore...
everything is canned or freeze dried...
mostly my freezer does this (pre-freeze)
and holds my breads til I need them...

Daddy was throwing some Sweetgum and Pine
over the fence and Fiona is nervous about that...

Not Baby...
she ain't afraid of nothin'!!

My Buddy Kermit...

AND, a friend...
not sure what to call this one...
he is smaller...

For lunch we did snack crackers,
cheddar slices and thick baloney!
YUM!

They brought the headstone out today and
set it on a pretty spot in the shade inn
our "Family Burial Ground"...

It holds their ashes, together,
and Lanny can build a nice bench
and we will decorate it with flowers....

We think they would like it...
it is a beautiful spot
facing East!!!

Made some baked potatoes for supper
with some chili and a side of left over pinto beans :-)

Then Lanny mowed.

It's actually later than usual for us,
but the headstone came later than expected
and we ate later than we normally do...

but all the chores are now done
and we are ready to settle down on the couch
with the pack for the movie...
Tonight will be
"Cowboys and Aliens"
with Harrison Ford...

*****

Goodnight Precious Family and Friends!

God bless you ALL

and

Sweet Dreams!
